Scope of service
Used Nissan Parts South Africa is an independent supplier of used (pull-out) and aftermarket Nissan spare parts. Our website is a lead-generation platform: you submit a quote, we source the part and revert with availability and pricing. Final pricing, condition, warranty terms and lead times are confirmed in our written quote (email, WhatsApp, or SMS). A binding contract is formed only when you accept the quote and we confirm the order.

Warranty on used parts
Used parts are sold "as inspected and tested by us" and are subject to the implied warranties of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA"):
- CPA s.55 — right to good-quality goods. Used parts will be reasonably fit for the purpose described, of good quality, in good working order, and free of defects at the time of delivery, having regard to their used nature and the price paid.
- CPA s.56 — implied 6-month warranty. A 6-month implied warranty applies to defects, during which we will repair, replace or refund at the Customer's election, subject to the conditions of s.56.
No manufacturer warranty is implied. Specifically, no warranty extends to: wear-and-tear consumables already at end of life, fitment damage caused by the Customer or a third-party workshop, parts modified, mis-coded or operated outside specification, or consequential loss arising from a fitted-and-failed part.
Aftermarket parts carry the supplier warranty stated on the quote (typically 3–12 months, manufacturing defects only).
Pricing & availability
- All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
- Prices and stock are subject to availability and may change between an initial enquiry and a written quote, particularly for high-demand parts (engines, gearboxes, ECUs).
- Quotes are valid for 7 calendar days from issue unless stated otherwise.
- Delivery costs, where applicable, are quoted separately and depend on dimensions, weight and destination.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in cases of obvious pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock shortage.
Payment
We accept EFT (preferred), card payment and cash on collection. Orders are dispatched only after cleared funds are received. Proof of payment may be requested for same-day dispatch.
Delivery & risk
- We deliver nationwide via reputable courier partners (The Courier Guy, Aramex, RAM and similar).
- Estimated delivery times are guidelines and not guaranteed; we are not liable for courier delays outside our control.
- Risk in the goods passes to the Customer on delivery to the address you specify or to the nominated collection point.
- Inspect the parcel on receipt and report visible damage to the courier and to us within 24 hours.
Returns & refunds
You have the following return rights:
- CPA s.20 — return of unsuitable goods within 7 business days where the goods do not match the description, sample, type or class reasonably contemplated, or where they are intended for a particular purpose communicated to us and are unsuitable for that purpose. The goods must be returned in the same condition received, with original packaging where supplied.
- CPA s.55 / s.56 implied warranty — 6 months on latent defects (see clause 02). We may, at our election, repair, replace or refund.
- Used-part fitment refund — where a used part is supplied and proves not to fit the specified vehicle (despite correct VIN/model details supplied by you), we will replace or refund at our cost.
Returns are not accepted for: change of mind on installed parts; parts damaged by incorrect fitment, failure to follow technical instructions, or modification; consumables consumed during diagnosis (oils, gaskets, fluids); parts cut, painted or otherwise altered.
Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days of the returned part arriving back at our premises and being inspected.
Customer obligations
- Provide accurate vehicle details (VIN, model, year, sub-model) — we cannot guarantee fitment if details supplied are inaccurate.
- Have parts fitted by a qualified technician where electrical coding, ECU programming, immobiliser learning or safety-critical work is involved.
- Test fit before painting, machining or otherwise modifying a returnable part.
Limitation of liability
Subject to the CPA and other applicable South African law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the supply of any part is limited to the price paid for that part. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including loss of use of the vehicle, loss of income, towing, hire-vehicle costs or third-party workshop labour.
Nothing in these Terms limits any non-excludable statutory right under the CPA or POPIA.

Intellectual property
The Nissan name and all model designations remain the property of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and are used on this site for nominative fair-use identification only — see our Trademark Disclaimer. Dispute resolution
If a dispute arises, please raise it with us first by emailing leads@usednissanparts.co.za. We aim to resolve disputes within 14 business days. If we cannot reach agreement, you may:
- Refer the matter to the National Consumer Commission (thencc.gov.za) or a recognised consumer ombud (e.g. Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa, miosa.co.za);
- Refer the matter to a competent South African court of jurisdiction.
Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts having jurisdiction in Gauteng.
Severability & changes
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remainder will continue in full force. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last Updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged with a banner for at least 30 days.
